1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using news.ojobit.com, including browsing content, creating an account, submitting material, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must stop using the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years old, or 16 in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. If you access the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

OJOBIT News is a technology and science news publication providing research-grade reporting on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, systems engineering, biotech, and related fields. The Site offers free access to most published content, optional subscriber accounts, and community features including comments and story submissions.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site or its features at any time, with or without notice.

4. User Accounts

• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
• Keep account credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized access.
• Use one personal account unless we give express written permission.
• Accept that accounts may be suspended or closed for Terms violations.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans may provide access to additional features and content. Current plans, pricing, and features are described on the Subscribe page.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Failed payments may result in suspended subscriber access.

6. Intellectual Property

Site content, including articles, analysis, headlines, summaries, editorial commentary, graphics, logos, design, and source code, is owned by OJOBIT R&D or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Site for personal, non-commercial informational use. You may not, without prior written permission:

7. User-Generated Content

Eligible users may submit links, article submissions, and comments. You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant OJOBIT R&D a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and create derivative works from that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site.

User Content must not:

• Be unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, obscene, or fraudulent.
• Infringe any third party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Contain spam, unsolicited promotion, malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent an affiliation.
• Contain personal data of third parties without their consent.

We may review, moderate, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Impair, overburden, damage, or disable the Site.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, servers, systems, or networks.
• Collect email addresses or contact information for unsolicited communications.
• Circumvent subscription gating or other technical restrictions.

12. Limitation of Liability

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims related to these Terms or your use of the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OJOBIT R&D, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to OJOBIT R&D's jurisdiction of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before initiating a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt informal resolution for 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted, except either party may seek equitable relief for intellectual property matters or unauthorized access. Class or representative proceedings are not permitted to the extent allowed by law.

15. EU and EEA Users

For European Union and European Economic Area users, we operate in line with applicable obligations under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act. Reports about potentially illegal content or applicable EU rights can be sent to [email protected].

16. Changes to These Terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and OJOBIT R&D for the Site.
